Dating Nine Months No I Love You

We are still in the "honeymoon" phase I would say. We have maybe only have one argument. Unfortunately, we can only see each other times a week because our schedules are so hectic. I'm 22 and he is I have had one other 3 year relationship and "I love you" was said about a month in I have not gotten an "I love you" out of my 9 month relationship yet. And I KNOW there isn't really a time limit on when someone should say it etc the only thing I'm concerned about is that maybe he has commitment issues.

He has joked around that he does. He has only had two other relationships and they are both officially shorter than 9 months. One girl actually cheated on him and he has never said "I love you" to either of them. I tried telling him around 6 months because I thought I felt it and he kind of freaked out! I told him I might be starting to fall in love I know there is nothing "typical" and all relationships are different.

I'm not getting any younger over here! I've now experienced most of these stages of waiting for him to confess his burning love. Knowing you caught feelings, but denying it's love. This happens early on, when you're well into the beloved honeymoon phase. You're still laying in bed for hours at a time, barely having a coherent conversation because you're so wrapped up in touching each other. You can't remember the last time you were this happy, but it can't be love yet.

We spent an entire day bike riding. There was something about exploring a new place with him that really got me. At first, I was disgusted with myself for acknowledging how into him I was. It was then that I knew I was a goner, but I did my best to stifle my feelings. Realizing you're probably in love and there's no way out. When you're hanging out with your guy, you can't help but think to yourself that you love him.

He told me he wanted to see every state with me. It's a scary thought. Until it's out there, you can't be percent sure he loves you back. And, it's even more frightening to think it might slip out. I'm basically a nervous wreck all the time. I can't even, because it makes no sense. You're not quite desperate yet, but you're impatient. Resorting to dropping hints makes you feel a little gross, but at least you're being proactive.

What is taking him so long?
